The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update daily financial transactions in accounting software.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and file VAT returns on time.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
- Liaise with auditors, suppliers, and internal departments for financial matters.
- Maintain accurate records in line with company and legal requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in an accounting role (food trading/FMCG experience preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
