Job Overview

As a Guest Service Agent at Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they have a memorable experience from check-in to check-out. Your role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service, addressing guest inquiries, and maintaining the hotel’s high standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Reception: Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
  • Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Check-Out Procedures: Handle check-out processes, including billing and payment processing.
  • Information Provision: Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Reservation Management: Manage room reservations and cancellations using the hotel’s booking system.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to fulfill guest requests.
  • Promotion: Promote hotel services and amenities, including room upgrades and special packages.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate guest records and documentation.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and security.
  • Emergency Handling: Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications in Hospitality or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in 4* or 5* hotels.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in hotel management software, preferably Opera.
  • Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
