Key Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls promptly and professionally, providing a warm first impression.
- Route calls efficiently to the appropriate guest rooms or hotel departments.
- Assist with requests like reservations, guest inquiries, wake-up calls, and message delivery.
- Maintain and update telephone directories and guest information as needed.
- Support interdepartmental communication and respond to urgent/emergency situations per hotel procedures.
- Log and track phone calls, messages, services requested, and actions taken during shifts.
- Handle administrative tasks relevant to the front office — such as billing prompts and internal coordination.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in telephone operations or customer service (preferably in a hotel setting) is preferred.
- Strong command of English for clear, professional communication; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
- Calm composure under pressure with multitasking abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Basic familiarity with hotel systems and front-office operations is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
