Responsibilities
- Construction and Repair: Construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications.
- Measurements and Cutting: Take measurements and cut materials accurately to ensure precise fits and finishes.
- Assembly: Assemble and join materials using nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
- Finishing: Sand and finish surfaces, including walls, floors, and furniture, to achieve desired textures and appearances.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on carpentry tools and equipment to ensure they remain in good working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and departments to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Customer Service: Respond to guest requests and inquiries related to carpentry services in a courteous and professional manner.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Carpenter in a construction or hospitality environment.
