Job Description:
We are seeking a competent Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our clients. The ideal candidate will coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods, ensuring that all operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Coordination: Manage and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Resource Optimization: Ensure that premises, assets, and communication channels are utilized effectively.
- Logistics IT Utilization: Employ logistics IT systems to optimize shipping and transportation procedures.
- Staff Coordination: Recruit and coordinate logistics staff, such as truck drivers, according to availability and requirements.
- Inventory Management: Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to meet production needs.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with suppliers, retailers, and customers to achieve profitable deals and ensure mutual satisfaction.
- Shipment Planning: Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
- Record Keeping: Maintain logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, and other essential data.
- Reporting: Prepare accurate reports for upper management to inform decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Customer Service: Experience in customer service is advantageous.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements related to logistics.
- Autonomy: Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple processes simultaneously.
