We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across various mission-critical facilities. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise and the ability to work effectively in high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure the continuous operation of critical facilities.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed, including installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably within mission-critical facilities such as data centers, hospitals, or transportation hubs.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and other stakeholders.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification will be an advantage.
