Job Description:

• As a Microbiologist at Abbott Laboratories in Singapore, your primary responsibilities will include:
• Quality Standards Implementation: Develop and implement company and regulatory quality standards within the laboratory facility.
• Supervision of Testing Activities: Oversee all testing procedures to ensure compliance with established protocols and standards.
• Laboratory Operations Management: Ensure that day-to-day activities of the Microbiology Laboratory are carried out safely and efficiently, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) standards at all times.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test results and prepare accurate reports, maintaining detailed and organized records of all laboratory activities.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in laboratory processes and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field.
• Experience: Prior experience in a microbiology laboratory setting, with a strong understanding of GMP and GLP standards.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in microbiological testing methods and laboratory equipment operation.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
