Job Responsibilities:
- Operate various vehicles and equipment, including motor vehicles, pickup trucks, delivery vans, towing tractors, club cars, and forklifts, within both airside and landside areas.
- Efficiently load, unload, and transport tools and materials to maintenance customers within the UAE (DXB/DWC), ensuring timely delivery in accordance with service level agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of all vehicular trips to customer locations and perform system transactions using handheld devices related to material movement between collection and delivery points.
- Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and the Engineering Procedure Manual (EPM), ensuring compliance with safety policies, procedures, and road regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of schooling or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of driving experience.
- Possession of a valid UAE manual heavy vehicle driver’s license (Category 4).
- Basic proficiency in English and physical fitness.
- An Airside Driving Permit (ADP) is advantageous.
Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements:
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting and operate in areas with motorized mobile equipment.
- Exposure to hazardous materials and noisy environments.
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures.
- Possession of an airport driving permit.
- Experience driving vibrating equipment.
- Flexibility to work day/night shifts (12-hour shifts) or general shifts (8.5-hour days) based on business requirements.
