Job Description:
Angels of Medical Care LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Caregiver to join their home care team in Dubai. The role involves providing high-quality care to elderly patients with various medical conditions, including stroke and diabetes, as well as offering support for newborns. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering patient-centered care with empathy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist elderly patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Health Monitoring: Regularly monitor and record patients’ vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and assist with medical procedures as directed.
- Newborn Care: Provide support to new mothers by assisting with newborn care routines, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques.
- Emotional Support: Offer companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with patients’ families, addressing concerns and providing updates on patient status.
Requirements:
- Certification: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Experience: Prior experience in caregiving, particularly in handling elderly patients with stroke and diabetes, is preferred. Experience in newborn care is an advantage.
- Physical Fitness: Active and physically fit to handle the demands of the job, including assisting with patient mobility and performing physical tasks.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Empathetic, patient, and able to build strong relationships with patients and their families.
- Residency: Preferably residing in Dubai to facilitate timely response to patient needs.
