Job Overview:
DAFCO is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing accurate financial information to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including VAT and other applicable taxes, in compliance with Saudi regulations.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and insights during audit processes.
- Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the medical supplies or healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in Arabic and English.
