Job Description:
Mannai Corporation QPSC is looking for a highly experienced and skilled Senior Cyber Security Specialist to join our cybersecurity team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced security measures to protect our organization’s IT infrastructure, data, and systems from cyber threats. This role requires deep expertise in cybersecurity strategies, risk assessment, compliance, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cybersecurity strategies to safeguard IT infrastructure and data.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify potential risks.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents, responding to threats in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices in alignment with industry regulations.
- Lead incident response efforts, including threat mitigation and forensic investigation.
- Ensure compliance with international cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR, etc.).
- Manage security tools and technologies, including firewalls, SIEM solutions, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to strengthen organizational security culture.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate security measures into new projects and technologies.
- Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably in a senior or leadership position.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection.
- Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and securing cloud-based applications.
- Hands-on experience with penetration testing, ethical hacking, and risk management.
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and implement security measures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage security incidents effectively.
