Job Description:
CONMARBLE CONCRETE is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. Safety Officer jobs in Saudi Arabia, The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety policies and regulations on construction sites, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments of construction sites to identify potential hazards such as falls, electrical risks, chemical exposures, and structural weaknesses.
- Safety Inspections: Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify unsafe conditions or practices. This includes examining equipment, machinery, scaffolding, and other structures.
- Policy Implementation: Develop and implement Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and programs tailored to each construction site, ensuring adherence to legal and company standards.
- Training: Conduct safety training sessions for workers, covering topics such as hazard identification, emergency procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Incident Investigation: Investigate any accidents or incidents on-site to determine causes and implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all safety practices comply with local and national regulations, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, particularly in construction.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Ability to identify potential hazards and implement effective solutions.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are preferred.
