Job Description:
Foodzway Trading Company is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage invoicing, collections, and payments to suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring variances and providing explanations for discrepancies.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to local accounting standards and regulatory requirements, staying updated on changes in financial legislation.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and implement recommendations as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the food trading or FMCG industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Oracle ERP or similar systems is a plus.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred but not mandatory.
