Job Description:
Jones the Grocer is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Food Servers to join our team in Dubai. As a Food Server, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience by welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers warmly and professionally
- Present menus, explain dishes, and make menu recommendations
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and input them into the system
- Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure correct presentation
- Attend to customers’ needs throughout their dining experience
- Clear and reset tables efficiently between guests
- Handle billing and payment transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Work closely with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Food Server or Waiter/Waitress, preferably in a café or restaurant setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, energetic, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Good command of English; additional language skills are a plus
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
