Job Description:
Bureau Veritas Qatar is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage inventory, stock levels, and supply chain support for its operational teams. The Store Keeper will ensure proper receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and supplies in line with company procedures and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or inventory management software.
- Organize and store items efficiently and safely to optimize space and accessibility.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishments to avoid shortages.
- Issue materials to project or technical teams as per approved requests.
- Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and segregation of materials.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and submit inventory reports.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the storage area.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for incoming and outgoing materials.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a storekeeping or inventory control role, preferably in engineering or technical industries.
- Proficient in MS Excel and inventory management systems.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, moving, and organizing stock items.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety and handling procedures for technical equipment.
