Job Description:
As an Assistant Photographer at Parisa Studio, you will be an integral part of our creative team, working closely with our lead photographers to ensure the successful execution of photo shoots. Your role will involve supporting all aspects of the photography process, from setting up equipment to assisting with lighting and capturing behind-the-scenes moments. Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Setup & Maintenance: Assist in setting up photography equipment, including cameras, lights, and backdrops, ensuring everything is in optimal working condition before shoots. Maintain and organize equipment, keeping track of inventory and ensuring proper storage.
- Lighting Assistance: Collaborate with the lead photographer to set up and adjust lighting according to the needs of each shoot. Use reflectors, diffusers, and other tools to achieve the desired lighting effects.
- On-Site Support: Provide support during photo shoots by helping with camera angles, framing, and composition. Assist in directing models or clients to ensure they feel comfortable and look their best in front of the camera.
- Post-Production Assistance: Help with the initial stages of post-production, including transferring and organizing images, backing up files, and preparing photos for editing.
- Client Interaction: Occasionally interact with clients, ensuring their needs are met and they have a positive experience during the shoot. Assist in managing client expectations and coordinating logistics.
- Creative Input: Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance the creative process, helping to achieve unique and compelling visual results.
- Behind-the-Scenes Documentation: Capture behind-the-scenes photos and videos for promotional purposes, showcasing the studio’s work environment and process on social media and other platforms.
Qualifications:
- A passion for photography and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Basic knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, and photography techniques.
- Previous experience in photography, either through formal education or hands-on experience, is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, depending on the project schedule.
