Role Overview:
SIP SIP CAFE is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to create a warm and inviting environment for our guests. As a Barista at SIP SIP CAFE, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional coffee beverages, engaging with customers, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the café.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coffee Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and other specialty beverages, following standard recipes and techniques.
- Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, take orders, and provide information about the menu. Ensure a positive customer experience by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash, process payments, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee machines, counter areas, and seating areas. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and menu items. Provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and inform management of any shortages or equipment maintenance needs.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations and a smooth workflow. Assist colleagues as needed during busy periods.
- Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Stay updated on industry trends and new coffee-making techniques.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required. We value a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Skills:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment is a plus.
