As the Café Manager at Dip Chocolate Cafe, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the cafe’s operations to ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will lead a team of dedicated staff, manage inventory, and maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene. Your role will involve driving sales, optimizing costs, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and employees. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the cafe, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of baristas, kitchen staff, and waitstaff to deliver exceptional service.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness are consistently maintained.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and control operating costs, budgets, and profitability.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and effectively.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage inventory to ensure the availability of fresh ingredients and products.
- Implement and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Plan and execute promotional events, special offers, and marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Maintain a welcoming and inviting cafe environment that reflects the Dip Chocolate Cafe brand.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Café Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar role in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Passion for chocolate, coffee, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
