Job Overview:

Adecco Agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Cook to join our team in Luxembourg. As a Community Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals for community-based organizations, such as schools, hospitals, or community centers. This role requires strong culinary skills, a focus on food safety, and a passion for serving the community.   • Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements
  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and meal plans.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and served in compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
  • Collaborate with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Monitor food inventory and coordinate with kitchen supervisors for ingredient replenishment.
  • Adjust recipes and meal plans as needed to accommodate dietary restrictions or special requests.
  • Provide assistance with kitchen setup and breakdown, including cleaning equipment and workspaces.
  • Participate in training and development programs to improve culinary skills and stay updated on food safety regulations.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive kitchen environment.
  • Previous experience as a cook, chef, or in a related culinary role.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends, if required.
  • Fluency in French or German is required; additional languages such as English or Luxembourgish are a plus.
