Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide assistance with menu selections, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- Food Preparation: Prepare food items according to A&W’s standards, ensuring quality, safety, and consistency in every order.
- Order Assembly: Assemble and package orders accurately and efficiently for dine-in, take-out, or delivery.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions using the cash register, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments securely and accurately.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
- Adherence to Standards: Follow all A&W policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Flexibility: Assist in various roles as needed, including cooking, cleaning, and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing and assembling orders.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that involve repetitive motion and lifting.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address and resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
