Job Overview:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team at Kazamer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation, ensuring that documents are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible. As a Document Controller, you will play a critical role in supporting our project teams and ensuring the smooth flow of information within the organization.

  • Manage and control all incoming and outgoing project documents, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
  • Ensure that documents are properly classified, organized, and stored in accordance with company procedures and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of document versions and revisions, ensuring that the latest versions are available to project teams.
  • Distribute documents to relevant stakeholders and ensure that they are aware of any updates or changes.
  • Perform regular audits of document control processes and systems to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Assist project teams with document retrieval and provide support in the preparation and submission of documentation.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure the timely and accurate exchange of information.
  • Monitor and track the status of documents, providing regular updates to project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain document control systems and software, ensuring that they are used effectively by all team members.
  • Provide training and support to staff on document control procedures and systems.
  • Proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing and maintaining documents.
  • Proficiency in using document control software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in document control.
  • A high level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
