Job Description:
As a Draftsman at Monaqasat, you will play a vital role in the design and planning phases of various construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to create detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications from architects, engineers, and project managers. You will ensure that all drawings are accurate, compliant with industry standards, and aligned with the project’s requirements. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for architectural, structural, and civil engineering projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate and precise drawings.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and documentation.
- Assist in preparing material take-offs and quantity estimates based on the project drawings.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure drawings are consistent with the overall design intent and project goals.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on design and technical issues.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in drafting technology.
- Ensure all work is completed within deadlines and meets the high standards of Monaqasat.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Draftsman in the construction or engineering industry.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and civil engineering principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing technical drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to interpret and work from rough sketches, technical specifications, and written instructions.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
