Position Summary:
Emirates Flight Catering is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accommodation Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of staff accommodations in Dubai. Key Responsibilities:
Accommodation Management:
- Supervise the daily operations of staff accommodations, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
- Manage room allocations and occupancy levels based on company policies and resident needs.
Resident Relations:
- Act as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing their concerns, requests, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Foster a positive living environment by organizing activities and events that enhance community engagement and resident satisfaction.
Maintenance and Housekeeping:
- Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of maintenance issues and adherence to cleanliness standards.
- Schedule and supervise routine and preventive maintenance tasks to prevent disruptions in accommodation services.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for residents.
- Implement and monitor emergency response procedures.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of occupancy, maintenance requests, and other relevant data.
- Prepare and submit reports on accommodation status, incidents, and other key metrics for management review.
- Manage budget and expenses related to accommodation facilities.
Staff Supervision:
- Supervise and support accommodation staff, including maintenance workers, cleaners, and security personnel.
- Provide training and development opportunities to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accommodation Supervisor or in a similar facilities management role.
- Strong understanding of accommodation management and facilities operations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in using computer applications for reporting and record-keeping.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in facilities management or related fields are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to conduct regular inspections and walkthroughs of accommodation facilities.
- Capability to respond to emergencies and handle physical tasks as needed.
