Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting fixtures in both residential and commercial settings.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests of electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or the need for repair or replacement.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute installations and repairs accurately.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, national, and international electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other construction and maintenance professionals, including carpenters and plumbers, to ensure project completion and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of all electrical work, including work orders, maintenance logs, and safety documentation.
- Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Stay current with the latest electrical technologies, tools, and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
Qualifications:
- Valid electrician license or certification recognized in Qatar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair, preferably within the luxury residential or commercial sector.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and electrical safety protocols.
- Proficient in using various electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in diverse environments, including confined spaces and at heights.
