Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to conceptualize and design facade systems for commercial, residential, and institutional buildings.
- Develop detailed facade designs, including layout drawings, elevation drawings, and technical specifications.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to create accurate and efficient designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and performance assessments to ensure designs meet structural, thermal, acoustic, and aesthetic requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to select appropriate materials and systems for facade construction.
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in facade technology, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present design proposals, including 3D renderings and mock-ups, to stakeholders for approval.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the facade design and construction phases.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of design deliverables within budget constraints.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess facade installation and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Facade Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing facade design projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM tools.
- Strong understanding of facade systems, materials, construction methods, and building codes.
