Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Create original designs that reflect the Zasifa brand’s aesthetic and meet the needs of our clientele.
- Trend Analysis: Stay current with fashion trends, market demands, and consumer preferences to inform design concepts.
- Sketching and Prototyping: Produce detailed sketches and prototypes, selecting appropriate fabrics and materials for each design.
- Collection Planning: Develop cohesive collections that align with the brand’s seasonal themes and marketing strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with pattern makers, seamstresses, and other team members to ensure designs are accurately brought to life.
- Quality Control: Oversee the production process to ensure that all garments meet Zasifa’s high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, creating custom designs that exceed their expectations.
- Fashion Shows and Events: Participate in fashion shows, exhibitions, and other events to showcase Zasifa’s collections and enhance brand visibility.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek feedback and opportunities for improvement to enhance design processes and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fashion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop), excellent sketching and illustration abilities, and a deep understanding of garment construction and fabrics.
- Creativity: Strong creative vision and the ability to translate ideas into compelling designs.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
