Tawa Bakery is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Food Packing Staff. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient packaging and presentation of our bakery products, maintaining our high standards of quality and presentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Pack bakery products, including bread, pastries, and cakes, according to established guidelines and standards.
- Ensure that all products are accurately labeled, sealed, and packaged for freshness and hygiene.
- Monitor product quality and appearance, discarding any items that do not meet our standards.
- Assist in the inventory management of packaging materials and supplies, notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including packaging stations and storage areas.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times, following proper handling and storage procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to fulfill customer orders and meet production targets.
- Assist in other bakery tasks as needed, including baking, decorating, and cleaning.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and dress code requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in food packing or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
