Position Summary:

Oli Oli Children’s Museum is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Front Desk Executive to be the welcoming face of our institution. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, a passion for working with families and children, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves managing front desk operations, providing information and assistance to visitors, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Visitor Reception and Assistance:

  • Greet and welcome all visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Provide information about museum exhibits, programs, and activities.
  • Assist with ticket sales, membership sign-ups, and event registrations.
  • Address visitor inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and courteously.

Front Desk Operations:

  • Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is tidy, organized, and stocked with necessary materials.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication efficiently.
  • Process payments and issue receipts for tickets, memberships, and merchandise.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and visitor statistics.

Safety and Security:

  • Ensure the safety and security of visitors by following museum protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor visitor flow and capacity to avoid overcrowding and ensure a pleasant experience.
  • Assist in emergency procedures, such as evacuations or first aid, if necessary.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to museum staff and management as needed.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating events, programs, and group visits.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by anticipating visitor needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Resolve any issues or complaints effectively, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Gather and relay visitor feedback to help improve museum services and experiences.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality, tourism, or a related field are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Front Desk Executive, Receptionist, or in a similar customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications and office equipment.
  • Positive attitude, professional appearance, and a passion for working with children and families.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
