We are seeking a friendly and efficient Guest Service Agent to join our team at FIVE Hotels and Resorts. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and hospitable atmosphere.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is accurately recorded.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, offering helpful and accurate information about the hotel’s services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Manage and resolve guest complaints or issues with a positive and solution-oriented approach.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met and special requests are fulfilled.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the hotel’s services, promotions, and local events to assist guests effectively.
- Process payments and manage cash transactions accurately, ensuring all financial procedures are followed.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including booking appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining guest records.
- Uphold the hotel’s standards of service excellence and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Guest Service Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar customer service role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and reservation management systems.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality or customer service are advantageous.
