Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Guest Service Agent to join our team at FIVE Hotels and Resorts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and personalized attention throughout their stay.

  • Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and hospitable atmosphere.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is accurately recorded.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, offering helpful and accurate information about the hotel’s services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Manage and resolve guest complaints or issues with a positive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met and special requests are fulfilled.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the hotel’s services, promotions, and local events to assist guests effectively.
  • Process payments and manage cash transactions accurately, ensuring all financial procedures are followed.
  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including booking appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining guest records.
  • Uphold the hotel’s standards of service excellence and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Guest Service Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar customer service role in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and reservation management systems.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality or customer service are advantageous.
