Key Responsibilities:
- Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering direct patient care, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility support.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Maintain patient comfort by ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for medical procedures and examinations.
- Support the maintenance of a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team, providing updates and relaying any concerns or changes in patient conditions.
- Assist in the transportation of patients within the hospital, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, updating care plans as necessary.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is preferred but not mandatory.
