Position Summary:
We are currently seeking experienced and dependable individuals to join our team as Heavy Duty Drivers. The Heavy Duty Driver will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently using heavy-duty trucks and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and experience operating heavy-duty vehicles in a variety of road and weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Operation: Operate heavy-duty trucks and vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbed trucks, and dump trucks, to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload cargo onto trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring that cargo is secure and properly balanced for transportation.
- Route Planning: Plan and follow designated routes to deliver goods and materials to customers or specified destinations, taking into account traffic conditions, road closures, and customer schedules.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety guidelines while operating vehicles, including speed limits, seat belt usage, and vehicle maintenance requirements.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks and vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes, and reporting any mechanical issues or concerns to management.
- Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo deliveries, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including timely delivery of goods, courteous communication, and professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications:
- License and Certification: Valid UAE driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Heavy-duty vehicle license (e.g., Category 3 or above) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a heavy-duty driver, with a demonstrated ability to operate heavy-duty trucks and vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Safety Awareness: Strong awareness of safety protocols and best practices for operating heavy-duty vehicles in a variety of road and weather conditions.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy cargo, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading vehicles.
- Communication Skills: Basic communication skills in English or Arabic, with the ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues, supervisors, and customers to achieve common goals.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate customer schedules and business needs.
