Job Overview:
Al Ittefaq Steel Products Co. is seeking a responsible and experienced Heavy Duty Driver to join our transportation team in Dammam. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport raw materials and finished goods between manufacturing plants, retail, and distribution centers. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, efficient route planning, and timely delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate heavy-duty trucks to transport materials to and from designated locations.
- Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle before and after operations to ensure mechanical soundness and safety.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper securing and protection of loads during transit.
- Maintenance Reporting: Report any vehicle abnormalities or maintenance needs to the dispatcher or foreman and arrange for necessary repairs.
- Route Planning: Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules, observing all traffic laws and regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to organizational Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and any incidents or accidents.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 0-1 year of experience in operating heavy-duty trucks, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Licensing: Valid heavy vehicle driver’s license issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading materials.
- Language: Basic proficiency in Arabic; knowledge of English is an advantage.
