Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and mix ingredients according to precise recipes and production guidelines.
- Operate and maintain ice cream machines and other equipment efficiently and safely.
- Monitor production processes to ensure optimal texture, flavor, and quality.
- Experiment with and develop new flavors to expand the product line.
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in the production area.
- Package and label finished products accurately and attractively.
- Keep detailed records of production, including batch numbers, ingredients used, and any adjustments made.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent quality and timely production.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking ingredients.
- Provide input on new product development and improvements to existing recipes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in culinary arts or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in ice cream making or a similar role in the food industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for developing new flavors.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise recipes.
