Position Overview:

Millennium Plaza Doha is seeking a meticulous and experienced Income Auditor to join our finance team. The Income Auditor will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all revenue transactions. This role is critical in maintaining the financial health and compliance of the hotel. Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit all daily revenue transactions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify and reconcile all income, including room revenue, food and beverage sales, and other hotel services.
  • Prepare daily income reports and distribute them to relevant departments.
  • Ensure compliance with established internal controls and financial policies.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or anomalies in revenue transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper recording and reporting of revenue.
  • Conduct periodic audits of cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all audited transactions and reports.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in annual financial audits and assist external auditors as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Income Auditor or in a similar auditing or finance role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA) is a plus.
