Think of it as a quick response to who you are in professional sense-an elevator in your career. They want to know that you’re really interested in their industry and their company. They want to see that you’ve done your research and that you know about them and the role that you’ve played, and that doesn’t just show that you’re interested in the role, but it also speaks about your professionalism and your willingness to do so.

Q3. What would you say are your greatest strengths?

That sounds like an easy question. You know what you’re good at right about? But be careful. Read the job in a precise way, and make sure that whatever you want to say corresponds to the way the function is described. Are they looking for team players with driving skills? You may want to talk about your communication skills and the ease of contacting the audience (make sure you only tell the truth). If you’re worried about coming as a pleasure or arrogant, put the words in someone else’s mouth by telling them what people have said about you in the past. Other good advice is to use clear and measurable achievements to support what you say-just make sure that we have a refundable tale.

This job is the new normal, and most employers realize that people, especially young people, ambitious people, are always looking for opportunities. You don’t, so, you should pretend you’re still going to be there in five years. Instead, tie in the dream job-and it’s better to work in that company-with your emotions, your interests and your experiences. This shows employers that you are ambitious, driven, and looking for professional growth.

I see myself in the position of the editor and by this point, I will work in journalism for more than 15 years, and I think I will be ready to move to a more strategic position, where I can use my experience to lead the team.
