Job Description:
Al Hudaida Sweets & Foodstuff Est. is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our team in Kuwait City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health and integrity of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are addressed promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the food and beverage or retail sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements in Kuwait.
