N & S Hearts to Homecare is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide high-quality in-home care services to clients across Nova Scotia. The caregiver will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort while maintaining their dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, following dietary guidelines.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well-being to healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Support clients with mobility and physical activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related healthcare field preferred.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid is an asset.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
