Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Berkeley Services UAE LLC in Abu Dhabi. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing cleaning operations in designated areas, ensuring that all tasks are performed to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will lead a team of cleaning staff, assign duties, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily cleaning operations of the assigned areas, including offices, residential buildings, and commercial spaces.
- Lead and motivate a team of cleaning staff to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained.
- Assign tasks to cleaning staff and ensure the proper use of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Ensure that all cleaning procedures comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when necessary.
- Provide training and guidance to new staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Address any client or customer concerns related to cleaning services and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on cleaning activities and staff performance.
- Ensure the safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or in a similar role within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in cleaning.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in cleaning management or facilities management is a plus.
