Job Description:
The Construction Site Supervisor will oversee daily site operations, ensuring that construction activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project plans, safety standards, and regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and workers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor site progress, conduct inspections, and ensure work quality aligns with project requirements.
- Enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and promote a safe working environment.
- Manage site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency.
- Prepare daily site reports, track project milestones, and communicate updates to management.
- Identify and address issues or delays proactively to maintain project timelines.
- Ensure proper documentation of site activities, safety records, and quality control measures.
- Provide guidance and training to site workers, fostering teamwork and skill development.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in infrastructure or civil projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Familiarity with site management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- WSQ or relevant certifications in workplace safety and construction supervision are preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
