As a Field Merchandiser at Smollan Holdings Singapore, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal display of products in retail outlets, maintaining product availability, and executing in-store marketing activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure products are well-stocked, neatly displayed, and aligned with merchandising guidelines in retail stores.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any product shortages, damages, or stock discrepancies.
- Implement promotional displays and point-of-sale materials according to marketing and promotional plans.
- Maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff to facilitate merchandising activities.
- Conduct regular visits to assigned retail outlets to ensure compliance with merchandising standards and planograms.
- Gather competitor and market insights and report on in-store activities, pricing, and trends.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of in-store promotions, events, and seasonal displays.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled with pricing, promotional information, and barcode visibility.
- Provide feedback on store performance and suggest improvements to optimize sales and product visibility.
Qualifications:
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels or equivalent.
- Prior experience in merchandising, retail, or sales support is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with store managers, staff, and customers.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated while managing multiple store visits.
- Comfortable with physical work, such as lifting and moving products, and walking between retail locations.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for visiting multiple store locations.
