Job Overview
OTANTIK Cafe and Restaurant LLC is seeking a professional and experienced Head Waiter to oversee the front-of-house service team. The Head Waiter will ensure smooth restaurant operations, uphold excellent customer service standards, and support the management in daily service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of wait staff during service hours.
- Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Train and mentor junior waiters and service staff.
- Manage seating arrangements and reservations in collaboration with the management.
- Monitor dining area cleanliness and presentation.
- Assist with inventory control and ordering of service supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service flow.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as a waiter, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or head waiter role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
