Job Description:
As the Hotel Operations Manager at Golden Sands Hotel Apartments, you will oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring efficient management and exceptional guest experiences. This leadership role requires collaboration with various departments to maintain high standards of service, optimize operational efficiency, and achieve financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Supervise daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services, ensuring seamless coordination among departments.
- Guest Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by ensuring excellent service and promptly addressing any issues or complaints.
- Staff Management: Manage and train hotel staff to maintain high standards of service, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure that all employees are motivated and productive.
- Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets and forecasts, and ensure that all expenses are within budgetary guidelines.
- Policy Implementation: Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to hotel operations, and implement and oversee health and safety protocols.
- Vendor Relations: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain hotel supplies and services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain guests, enhancing the hotel’s market presence.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel operations management, with a proven track record of success in the hospitality industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
