Job Description:
OilExec is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations at the company’s facilities in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within company accommodations, ensuring all facilities meet the highest hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning of offices, accommodation, and common areas.
- Ensure that housekeeping staff follow company policies, health, and safety standards.
- Inspect work areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to company standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure they are replenished as needed.
- Train, guide, and evaluate the performance of housekeeping staff.
- Report any maintenance issues, including plumbing, electrical, and furnishing repairs, to the relevant departments.
- Handle guest requests and ensure timely and satisfactory responses.
- Ensure proper waste disposal and environmental sustainability practices are followed.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage staffing levels to ensure smooth operation.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role, within hotels, corporate offices, or hospitality.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and techniques.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform physical tasks.
