Marriott International, Inc. is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Income Audit Officer to join its Finance team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on reviewing, reconciling, and verifying hotel revenue and financial transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies. Key Responsibilities:
- Audit and reconcile daily revenue postings from all hotel outlets, including rooms, F&B, and other departments
- Verify cash, credit card, and other payment transactions, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute daily revenue reports for management review
- Monitor internal controls related to income and revenue collection
- Support month-end closing processes by reconciling revenue accounts
- Identify and report irregularities, working with relevant departments to resolve issues
- Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with front office and F&B teams to ensure accurate reporting
- Provide audit documentation and support during internal or external audits
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Previous experience in income auditing or hotel finance preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera) and accounting software
- Advanced MS Excel and reporting skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Hospitality industry experience is a plus
