Job Overview:
As an Interior Designer at MUWORK PTE. LTD., you will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing interior design projects that align with client requirements and company standards. Your role will involve space planning, material selection, and overseeing the implementation of design solutions to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints, ensuring clear communication throughout the project.
- Design Development: Create detailed design concepts, including mood boards, sketches, and 3D renderings, to effectively communicate ideas to clients and stakeholders.
- Space Planning: Develop efficient space plans that optimize the use of space while adhering to building codes and safety regulations.
- Material and Finish Selection: Recommend appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design concept and client preferences.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure the seamless execution of design plans, managing timelines and budgets effectively.
- Site Supervision: Oversee on-site installations and construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in interior design, preferably with exposure to furniture manufacturing and renovation projects.
- Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and building codes.
