Job Overview
Ramah General Contracting L.L.C is seeking a skilled IT Engineer to join its IT department. The successful candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of the company’s IT infrastructure and systems. This role includes providing technical support, managing network infrastructure, and implementing technology solutions that support operational excellence in a construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware (servers, desktops, laptops, printers) and software applications.
- Administer and monitor network infrastructure (LAN/WAN), including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Provide technical support to users, resolving IT support tickets promptly and effectively.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues involving email systems, remote access tools, and office systems.
- Implement and maintain data backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Ensure IT security by managing antivirus, firewalls, and system updates.
- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to maintain uptime and efficiency.
- Assist in technology planning, procurement, and deployment of IT resources.
- Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and assist with training of staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in IT support or systems engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and network administration.
- Proficiency with hardware troubleshooting, virtualization platforms, and backup systems.
- Familiarity with VoIP, cloud services (e.g., Office 365 / Azure), and cybersecurity principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
