The IT Supervisor at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi will play a key role in maintaining high-tech operations and ensuring the reliability of IT infrastructure across hotel systems. IT Supervisor jobs in Abu Dhabi, You will manage day-to-day IT tasks and act as a vital point of escalation in the absence of the IT Manager, helping sustain seamless service delivery across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware (PCs, servers, printers) and software systems.
- Support telecommunications infrastructure—handling cabling, IP telephony, mobile devices, and internet connectivity issues.
- Manage IT asset life cycles—ordering, inventorying, and ensuring optimal performance of hardware and software.
- Maintain business continuity through data backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Oversee user system configurations, PMS applications (e.g., Opera, Micros), and POS systems, and escalate technical issues as necessary.
- Implement preventive maintenance policies and document support tickets, logs, and communication.
- Lead the IT team in the manager’s absence, delegating daily tasks and ensuring adherence to corporate standards.
- Uphold Rixos’ brand standards, appearance, and professional conduct guidelines within IT operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Computer Engineering or related field; certifications like MCNA and/or CCNA are a plus.
- 4–5 years of similar IT supervisory experience in a 4–5 star hospitality environment.
- Hands-on familiarity with networks (LAN/WAN), telecom systems, IP telephony, POS systems, and hospitality tech (Micros, Opera, Fidelio, Oasys).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication abilities.
- Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR) is advantageous.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and standard in line with Rixos values and style.
- UAE experience and immediate availability are considered strong advantages.
