Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating the efficient movement of goods, ensuring that our supply chain operations are seamless and cost-effective. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations, maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Vendor Relations: Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Transportation Coordination: Plan and oversee product shipments, selecting appropriate transportation methods and routes to optimize efficiency and cost.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipping documents, invoices, and inventory logs.
- Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with local and international regulations and company policies.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies in orders promptly.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role, preferably within the food distribution industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite; strong organizational and multitasking abilities; excellent communication and negotiation skills.
