Job Description:
The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for supporting the production of high-quality analytical instruments and laboratory equipment. This role involves operating machinery, assembling components, conducting quality checks, and ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Perform assembly of mechanical and electronic components following detailed work instructions and technical drawings.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, process controls, and quality assurance procedures.
- Record and maintain accurate production data, including equipment performance and process deviations.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement process improvements and resolve technical challenges.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain a clean, organized workspace to support a safe working environment.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies, equipment, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related technical field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the life sciences or electronics industry.
- Proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Strong technical aptitude with basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work in shifts if required.
