Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at Enshaat Al Sayer in Kuwait. The successful candidate will oversee mechanical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects, ensuring that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. The Mechanical Supervisor will lead a team of technicians, manage day-to-day operations on-site, and ensure the highest standards of mechanical work, contributing to the successful completion of various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical activities on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to project timelines and specifications.
- Manage a team of mechanical technicians, providing guidance, training, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure proper operation and safety standards.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure correct implementation of mechanical systems.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, implementing corrective actions as required.
- Ensure that all mechanical work adheres to safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Maintain and manage inventory of mechanical tools, parts, and equipment.
- Prepare progress reports, documentation, and record keeping of completed work.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure that all mechanical maintenance schedules and procedures are followed and updated as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent technical certification).
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in mechanical supervision, preferably in construction or large-scale engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and other related systems.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Leadership skills with experience managing a team of technicians.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (preferred).
