Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Assist with daily routines, including feeding, dressing, and hygiene.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children.
- Perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare, such as tidying play areas and laundry.
- Supervise playtime and activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Assist with homework and educational activities.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding children’s progress and daily activities.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and administer first aid if required.
Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma; formal childcare training or certification is an asset.
- Previous experience as a nanny or childcare provider (1-3 years preferred).
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Must be able to provide references and pass a background check.
- Willingness to relocate to Canada under LMIA sponsorship.
